Halloween

So first of all, I found a way to add the photos from Mom's visit - so those are available now.

Here is the masterpiece that Jenna was able to put together for Halloween:

We got invited to a Halloween party at one of our friends' flats. At first, we were a little apprehensive, since we didn't know how to dress up, but once Jenna came up with the great idea of cowboys (we are from Texas). There is a small costume shop very close to our flat, and for the weeks heading up to the 31st it was wall to wall with people. For some reason, people in London love to dress up (stag and bachelor/bachelorette parties, etc) so Halloween was especially crazy.

Jenna braved the store about 8 times to get everything we needed - guns, hats, a vest, and chaps. All I had to do was grow out that moustache (I've since shaved). Okay, so it was a fake, but pretty convincing I think. We also made the oddest purchase for two Texans in London - cowboy boots. Couldn't find any for me for less than about $300, but Jenna found a pair for about $20, so now that we moved 5,000 miles from Texas, we decided to get some cowboy boots.

Anyway - not too much to say about the party. Just felt like we needed to post something in order to get the photos up.
